1 Has sufficient illumination.

The illuminance of the shadowless lamp has reached more than 150,000 LUX, which is close to the brightness of the sunny summer sun. The actual illuminance is generally 40,000~100,000 LUX, too bright will affect eyesight. While providing sufficient illuminance, it is necessary to prevent the beam from glare on surgical instruments. Glare affects eyesight and vision, and easily makes eyes tired. It is unfavorable for surgeons to perform operations. The illuminance of the shadowless lamp should not be too different from the illuminance in the operating room. Some illuminance standards stipulate that the overall illumination should be one-tenth of the local illumination. The overall illumination of the operating room should be above 1000LUX.

2 There is no shadow in the operation.

Shadowlessness is an important feature and performance index of shadowless lamps. Any shadow formed in the surgical field will hinder the doctor's observation, judgment and operation. In addition to providing sufficient illumination, a good shadowless lamp should also have a high degree of shadowlessness to ensure a certain degree of luminosity on the surface and deep tissues of the surgical field. In the test of shadowlessness, a 50X75mm black cylinder is used to handle the light source 1 meter directly above, and a photometer is placed at the bottom of the cylinder. The measured light-shadow ratio shall not be less than 10%. The actual product used is 50-100 cm in diameter. The lampshade is equipped with several or more than a dozen lamp balls uniformly arranged in a ring. A special bulb and reflector are used in the lamp ball. The light beams are reflected from different positions through the filter and meet at one point to provide balance, uniformity and Shadowless bright beam.

3 The temperature is low.

The increase in illuminance will inevitably cause the temperature of the lamp body and the beam to increase, which will affect the temperature of the doctor’s head and the tissue of the surgical site, thereby affecting the efficiency and quality of the operation. For this reason, the temperature rise in the operating room is required to be controlled within 10°C. The main method adopted is to pass the visible light generated by the light source through a reflector that can filter out 70% of the infrared, and most of the remaining infrared is isolated and filtered by a glass cover. The light beam after the above treatment is called cold light.

4 Good light quality.

The so-called good light quality means that the light beam provided can truly reflect the color and changes of blood and tissue. This kind of performance is generally called color rendering, and it is expressed by the color rendering index value calculated from the light distribution of the light source. The best color rendering index is 100. Color rendering has a great relationship with color temperature. It is required to reach 6000K color temperature, the true color rendering is about 70-90, and the effective color rendering is close to 100.

5 Easy to operate.

The operation shadowless lamp should be able to continuously change the position and direction during the operation. The operation must be simple, flexible, light, fast and effective. The central part of the lamp body should be equipped with a sterilizable operating handle. Advanced products are also equipped with light-guiding fiber deep cold light lamps, color TV photography devices and ventilation devices.

6 Economy and safety.

Economy mainly refers to the high luminous efficiency of the light source, low power consumption and long life. Most foreign countries have adopted halogen bulbs. The lamp body is required to be made of materials that are difficult to adhere to dust. As the structure of the shadowless lamp tends to be large and complex, it is very important to consider its safety. This mainly refers to the electrical safety performance, the structural strength of the lamp body and its weight.

In recent years, in order to improve the light quality, we have developed and produced a multi-layer dielectric film reverse lens that uses hard glass as a reflective surface and can transmit infrared rays, that is, a cold light reflector. The illuminance can reach more than 100,000 LUX. The mirror surface of the reflector is coated with multiple high-purity zinc sulfide, magnesium fluoride coatings or titanium dioxide, silicon dioxide coatings in a vacuum, and the coating is uniform and free of impurities. In order to meet the needs of the surgeon, a light adjustment device is also set on the high-illuminance shadowless lamp. The illumination angle of the light can be changed according to the position of the operator and the scope of the operation. Shadowless lamps are developing in the direction of high efficiency, multi-function, and economical ratio, and strive to provide high-quality uniform beams with sufficient illumination, good color rendering, high shadowlessness and less infrared to meet the needs of modern surgical operations.
